Organized by the Business Incubator Novi Sad – Startup Weekend Novi Sad is all about forming a better entrepreneurship climate for all future businesses, challenging you to come out with your ideas and finally put them to the test, and of course, giving you a chance to meet those people you always wanted to know. People who share a similar vision, but have skills that complement your own.

Register for Startup Weekend now and you’ll have a chance to attend pre-event traing courses for FREE!

As a part of the Startup Weekend Novi Sad (11-13 October 2013.), Business Incubator Novi Sad has arranged a 4 day free training course for all attendees in order to insure the best preparation possible for all participants that are taking part in the event. The training will cover two different subjects: developing a business model, and startup pitches.

“Developing a business model” part of the training will give you insights into many important topics, such as: who are your potential buyers, what value are you creating for your buyers, how do you deliver the created value, how do you generate revenues, how do you establish and maintain your customer relationships, what are your key activities, what are your key resources, do you have a key partner, what are the costs of your business – what is your minimum viable product.

“Startup pitch” training will cover the following key topics: preparation and planning of an effective presentation – defining personal values, professional structure and time management, KISS – what do the listeners actually remember, you and your body language, how to manage the team in a presentation, how to answer questions.

Ever wondered what it takes to be an entrepreneur?

The professional and personal challenges, the high and lows, the failures and the success?

Startup Weekend is a global grassroots movement of active and empowered entrepreneurs who are learning the basics of founding startups and launching successful ventures. It is the largest community of passionate entrepreneurs with over 400 past events in 100 countries around the world in 2011.

The non-profit organization is headquartered in Seattle, Washington but Startup Weekend organizers and facilitators can be found in over 200 cities around the world. From Mongolia to South Africa to London to Brazil, people around the globe are coming together for weekend long workshops to pitch ideas, form teams, and start companies.

All Startup Weekend events follow the same basic model: anyone is welcome to pitch their startup idea and receive feedback from their peers. Teams organically form around the top ideas (as determined by popular vote) and then it’s a 54 hour frenzy of business model creation, coding, designing, and market validation. The weekends culminate with presentations in front of local entrepreneurial leaders with another opportunity for critical feedback.

Whether entrepreneurs found companies, find a cofounder, meet someone new, or learn a skill far outside their usual 9-to-5, everyone is guaranteed to leave the event better prepared to navigate the chaotic but fun world of startups. If you want to put yourself in the shoes of an entrepreneur, register now for the best weekend of your life!
