Organized by the Business Incubator Novi Sad – Startup Weekend Novi Sad is all about establishing a better entrepreneurship climate for all future businesses, challenging you to come out with your ideas and finally put them to the test. You will get the chance to meet people you always wanted to meet. The people that share a vision very similar to your own, but also have skills that compliment your own.

Register for Startup Weekend now and you’ll have a chance to attend the pre-event training courses for FREE!

As part of the Startup Weekend Novi Sad (20-22 March 2015.), Business Incubator Novi Sad has arranged a 4 day free training course for all attendees, in order to insure the best possible preparations for all the participants which are taking part in the event. Two different subjects will be covered by training: developing a business model and startup pitches.
“Developing a business model” part of the training will give you insights into many important topics, such as: who are your potential customers, what value are you creating for your customers, how do you deliver the created value, how do you generate revenues, how do you establish and maintain your customer relationships, what are your key activities, what are your key resources, do you have a key partner, what are the costs of your business – what is your minimum viable product.
“Startup pitch” training will cover the key topics about presenting your idea: preparation and planning of an effective presentation – defining personal values, professional structure and time management, KISS – what do the listeners actually remember, verbal and nonverbal communication – you and your body language, how to manage the team in a presentation, how to answer questions.

Have YOU ever wondered what it takes to be an entrepreneur?

The professional and personal challenges, the highs and lows, the failures and the successes?
Startup Weekend is a global grassroots movement comprised of active and empowered entrepreneurs who are learning the basics of founding startups and launching successful ventures. It is the largest community involving over 100,000 of passionate entrepreneurs, with over 400 past events in 100 countries around the world in 2011.
The non-profit organization is headquartered in Seattle, Washington but Startup Weekend organizers and facilitators can be found in over 200 cities around the world. From Mongolia to South Africa to London to Brazil, people around the globe are coming together for weekend long workshops to pitch ideas, form teams, and start companies.
All Startup Weekend events follow the same basic model: anyone is welcome to pitch their startup idea and receive feedback from their peers. The teams are formed around the top ideas (as determined by popular vote) and the follow-up consists of a 54 hour frenzy of business model creation, coding, designing, and market validation. The weekends are concluded with the presentations which are held in front of local entrepreneurial leaders, with yet another opportunity for critical feedback.
Whether entrepreneurs found companies, find a cofounder, meet someone new, or learn a skill far outside their usual 9-to-5, everyone is guaranteed to leave the event better prepared to navigate the chaotic, but entertaining world of startups. If you want to put yourself in the shoes of an entrepreneur, register now for what is sure to be one of the most amazing weekends of your life!
